Sweet Things

Brain cancer is...

...not too sick to do very sweet things.

Darrell’s cold seems to be in his chest and sinuses.  We’ve got a regimen going, prominently featuring the vaporizer at night.  He reports that he is at that stage where he sounds worse, but feels better.  Maybe a couple more early nights will do the trick.  

We skipped the walk today, but Darrell did come home today with a bundle of sweet things for me (above).  Always touching my heart, even when sniffling.

Now we must focus on the election returns.  Happy Election Day.

Bonus Sweet Things

Today was the Reflection Retreat for the EDEL 435 (Mathematics Methods) crew at CSUF:

Among us, Christine, Andi, and Michelle taught all 150 CSUF Multiple Subject Credential candidates their mathematics methods course this semester.  With the course complete, our team met to reflect today over lunch.  It felt so energizing to capture our successes and plan continuous improvements next time around.  Being a part of this team?  Sweet.
