Phew! The Report Is In! 5:57 p.m.

Brain cancer is...

 ...breathing a little easier now.

We received the above report at 5:30 p.m. today.  As a reminder, this is the report from the radiologist on call who reads the scan, in this case, Dr. Young.  We consider the report preliminary until Darrell sees Drs. Park and Cloughesy.

But we are definitely breathing a little easier to see Dr. Young's impression:  No significant change.  Phew.

Thanks for going through the wait with us, Friends.  Not easy. 

We followed advice from several of you who said, "stay busy."  We fully adopted our new scan wait maxim, "Keep calm.  Keep busy."

We worked today, and we walked.  Below is Darrell discovering a new (ephemeral) lake at Carbon Canyon.

Darrell's appointment with Dr. Park is tomorrow morning at 8:45.  Let cancer week continue, unimpeded!
