Brain cancer is...
...celebrating 36 years of surprises.
Today is our actual anniversary. Here’s how we look, after 36 years of marriage.
In fact, we didn't predict most of the adventures we've seen in these
years. But also we would have failed dramatically at predicting just how
wonderful having each other as life partners could turn out to be. We call it one square inch of silver lining that accompanies GBM: Gratitude for another day the privilege of having a partner you love more than your own life itself. What an adventure!
Neither could we have predicted the wonderful people who would come our way in these 3.6 decades. An example, you ask? Here's a notable one from a FaceTime call today:

Cheers to the wonderfulness of each other!
Cheers to the next adventures!

May there always be one more surprise.
Happy, happy anniversary, Dr. Darrell and Dr. Andi! Can't wait to celebrate with you from a distance. Cheers!
