Brain cancer is...
...taking a Dew break.
Readers note: Blogger Andi here today. Darrell's a little cranky . It could be because I worked all week and that makes everyone tired. Or it could be his dearth of Dew. Either way he deserves the day off from posting today. He loves it, but he counts it as hard work.Above you see our aluminum can recycling bin. It's the only place you'll find a can of Dew at our house today. None in the fridge. None in Darrell's hand. Darrell decided that his digestive system could use a Dew break. We'll see if a happy tummy is worth the caffeine loss. That's an addiction going.
Never fear. We have new addictions...coming.
In this picture you see two of our new addictions. You already know about the purple Dove chocolate addiction. The candy bowl is full again. Dark chocolate with almonds? What's life without it?
What we have not told you is that we are now also addicted to Tate's thin and crispy chocolate chip cookies. Curt and Barb introduced us to these gems. We don't hold Curt and Barb responsible for the fact that we eat two cookies per day, though. We're the boss of us. And of the cookies.
(By the way, of course I look afraid in this picture. You'll be afraid too if you're a cookie lover and you taste a Tate's.)
Happy Friday, Team D. May it bring you only the tastiest of addictions!
Darrell's Take: Life without caffeine is going to be hard, Friends.
Today's Bloom
New Addiction #3? Peonies! Darrell brought me these today. They're just too perfect.

Feeling housebound? This is a pic from nephew Nolan. He took it in Virginia. Our spirits feel renewed in just 10 seconds. Thanks, Nolan.
