Brain cancer is...
...finding reasons to smile.
It is horrifying that our entire state (and parts of others) are on fire. Our thoughts are with all who are threatened or involved in fighting the fires, and with all of us for the environmental devastation we face.
We did search for and find some reasons to smile today.
Above we gladly accepted a Lazy Dog invitation from Christine and Lennie. (Yes, I did drink three gallons of iced tea. You're not judging are you?)
When we got home:
More smiles?
No more prematurely overripe bananas! Phew! (PS: We read not to get a banana tree that hangs over a fruit bowl; you want to escape the gases from the other ripening fruit. For goodness sake, yes we do!)
And now the news that still has us (well, mostly me) smiling? Darrell meets Water Pik. The hygienist recommended it for Darrell. (More details by request for those interested in the tongue's important job in keeping teeth clean.)
Tomorrow Darrell plans on trying a lower-powered setting. I hope not.
Wishing you smiles, Team D.
