Brain cancer is...
...supervising the loading of space from a distance.
In 2019, we spent three nights at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, and while Andi worked, I supervised (tongue in cheek) the arrival of truck cargo trailers and their placement in the cargo bay of a Dole freighter (see here for the post).
It took them three days, and the workers were careful to replace the trailers on the spot with the new trailers to avoid tipping the ship. The whole operation was like a well oiled machine. All workers knew their roles.
Above you see neighbors packing and getting ready to move out using U-Haul trucks and Pod storage containers. Not such a well oiled machine perhaps, but they made it work. It also took a number of days. As for my supervising, hey, old habits die hard...
