Brain cancer is...
...rejoicing with the Dominguez family.
When Kristine took this "Krackle Paint" sky photo this morning, she couldn't have known it would be a perfect symbol of celebration today.
You know our fellow GBM friends, Gary and Suzie Dominguez (here was dinner at their home). A few days ago, Gary had a second surgery so that his medical team could explore some odd spots that showed up on his MRI. (Recall that imaging studies are by far the most common way to track what happens in a brain with GBM. To be sure about what's going on, a biopsy [less common] or surgery is required.)
We heard from Suzie today that Gary is home, doing very well, physically active, and enjoying family. The spots appear to be tumor-based, but not the "typical" GBM type cells. We'll know soon.
We rejoice in Gary's successful surgery and strong recovery!
Today's Blooms
We sneaked in a neighborhood walk this morning before the heat hit. The bloom theme that emerged was "multi flowers."
How could Ginger have known today's theme? She could not. And yet here's what she sent from her San Simeon walk today.
Plus bee! What a day!
