You know the effort it takes to get from one place to another, with all the extreme packing and transitions tasks. Of course you do.

The first words Darrell said to me as we pulled up to the cabin were, "Welcome home." Or maybe it was Skelly saying those words (above). Either way, they were sweet, sweet words.

All local forests are still closed for fire danger, but we knew that. No hiking. We're ready for yoga and strength training.

And most importantly perhaps: CSUF provided me with a MiFi (hot spot) so I can work here in this beautiful place. So far so good! Free Internet!
