Brain cancer is...
We set foot on Alaskan soil today, in Ketchikan. Ketchikan is called Alaska's First City because it's the first city you come to in this great state. It's also called the salmon capital of the world.
We did a walking tour of the city and its lovely environs. It's green, 63 degrees, and gorgeous. Pics to follow because we are still struggling with photos and the Internet.
Updated: This video shows a fish ladder. Fish ladders help the salmon get upstream. The salmon just began running during our visit. We kept our eyes open but didn't see any fish.
