Brain cancer is...
...enjoying Greek food again.
We put in a full day today, so when Darrell asked for ideas for a splurge dinner delivery, I suggested our favorite, Olive Pit. His face just lit up. It tasted especially great on the patio. We have only ordered Olive Pit for delivery once: for Easter. Can you believe that Easter was more than a month ago? It seems so long ago. That question ("Can you believe Easter was so long ago?") was one of many we asked ourselves today.
We Wondered
- Craig Park has been closed to cars, open only to walkers and cyclists. Today they allowed cars to come through the gate and pay. Why are we seeing things slowly open up with no change in the state's status?
- Today we located a Starbucks near us with a drive through. Have we ever been through a Starbucks drive through together? Were we in Wisconsin?
- Andi started reading War and Peace today. How long until she regrets?
- How is it possible that a nonfat latte tastes so great and has 13 grams of protein? And why was its partner sandwich so full of fat?
- Can anyone really balance on a wobble board?
- Today we bought 10 bamboo rhizomes for the Fence Planting Project. When in your life have you purchased rhizomes? Were they for bamboo?
- Why does rice have so many calories? And grilled artichoke hearts have so few?
- Weather prediction is rain tomorrow morning. Kidding?
- Today Gordon asked: "Friday? Really?"
- How did it happen that we have no back up purple Dove Promises for the candy bowl? Yipes.
