Parenting in the Digital Age

Brain cancer is...

...thankful for the silicon chip.

Our kids had cellphones with texting capacity starting when Zach was new to junior high school and Alex was new to high school.  Our gratitude for the silicon chips started right then.

I recall being grateful when I could text Alex and tell him he forgot his chemistry extra credit assignment.  And we felt really grateful when Zach texted us with the allegations against him before he made it to the office and we heard them from the principal.  (He was not guilty, by the way.)
