Brain cancer is...

...moving right along!

Darrell has just three "boost" radiation treatments left.  He finishes his radiation course on Friday.  Hurrah!

If he ever needed radiation again in the future, it would be different from this 6-week course.

By means of update on how he's fairing:

• His hair offers a new version of awesome daily.
• As of now, his fatigue has never gotten any worse.  I don't even recall the last time he took a nap.
• His spirits are great.
• His speech continues to be great.
• He continues to avoid logic problems.

In this picture you see Vicky, who signs Darrell in for his radiation every morning.  Every day she smiles just like this and engages in conversation.  This morning she told Darrell she was sad because today was her last day in the radio-onc department.  She goes back upstairs to some other department tomorrow.

We appreciate Vicky and how much a part of Team Darrell she has been for the last 5 plus weeks.  She's a good reminder of Mother Teresa's advice:  Do small things with great love.
