It's begining to smell a lot like Christmas!

Brain cancer is...

 ...earning major holiday points with the wife.

 
On our first married Christmas, 36 Christmases ago, Darrell willingly adopted my family's  tradition of fresh trees.

(Side note:  Holiday points to Gordon too for being the person who, 36 years ago, said, "If she wants a fresh tree, give her a fresh tree.")  
 
For us, if ever there was a year in need of Christmas trees, it's this one.  When I told Darrell that I wasn't sure how many trees I needed this year, he said, "You just let me know."  Three trees!  Three trees!  Three trees!

Also earning some points:  Our little purple mini van.  Above you see that all three trees fit easily into the cargo space.  What would we do without you, little van?
