Nine Tiny Cancer Warriors

Brain cancer is...

 ...treated by nine pills daily.

Here are the tiny warriors on Team D, during the five days of chemo each month.  Darrell points out that these pills do not include the vitamins and supplements, all of which he also swallows bravely.

(Thanks for the tip, Barb and Curt, on swallowing pills!)

Darrell continues to tolerate the chemo like a super hero.  He says the most marked effect is a feeling of being poisoned and anxious for a bit right after the dosage.  It wears off.  Good to know it's working, right?  Fight on, tiny cancer warriors, fight on!

In other lifetime news:  Happy 23rd Birthday Summer Rae!  Here's dinner out at her favorite local sushi, Tokyo Kitchen
Thanks for living up to your name every day, Summer.

And, to close, for the dog lovers in the house:  Here's Mousse with his latest trick.
