Ultra Vaxers

Brain cancer is...

 ...ultra vaxing.

As people born in the early 60s, an era full of people grateful for vaccines, we have followed vaccination regimens for ourselves and for our children.

Now, post diagnosis, and post-a-shingles episode (Andi), we consider ourselves ultra vaxers.

Sometimes we go to Ralph's Pharmacy and ask for the vaccine of day:  "Whatchoo got back there that might protect us from getting sick?"

Just kidding.  We don't think there is such a thing as ultra vaxers.  But we did get a couple shots today (above).   Darrell's immune system, because of the aggressive treatment required to fight brain cancer, will always be considered "compromised."  Seems reason enough to give our bodies "a shot" at a little extra protection.

Here's a nod to you, Word of the Year:  Perspective, and what you bring to our decisions daily.

Shadow Art:  The Sequel

First: Some inquiring minds asked about the camera location in yesterday's Shadow Heart piece.  Here you go:

Second:  An early morning walk is not a guarantee of good shadow art potential.  Here's the art canvas terrain today, same time as yesterday:

The culprit for shadowless conditions?  These lovely clouds.

Fortunately, Curt out waited  the cloud cover and created this moving piece:

He calls it The Pied Piper of the Valley.  Obviously.

Keep on creating, Team D!
