Christmas Date Two, 2019

Brain cancer is...

...enjoying his second Christmas date of the year.

Exactly one year to the day that we enjoyed our 2018 Christmas date with Beth and Geoff (the first with them)...we enjoyed our second.  We had a delicious dinner at the Ranch, toasting Christmases past, present, and future.

To Geoff

Perhaps it is altogether fitting and proper, on this day, the first day of winter, and a day spent with Geoff, that we should post a bird sighting.

At the park this morning, Darrell spotted a Ross's goose.  We know, we know.  It looks like a snow goose.  But look again.  It's about 40% smaller than a snow goose and it's missing the black grin patch.  Easy mistake.

(You know that we actually know little about birds and do our research on my phone as we walk our miles, right?  We mostly like that birds bug Geoff.  But we also think they're cool.  Ross's geese nest in the artic and head south for the winter.  Today's the first day we recall spotting one. Welcome to So Cal, Ross.  Merry Christmas.)
