Heart Warming

Brain cancer is...

...battled by Block 24.

It feels as if Darrell and I were just writing to you about my difficult decision to follow through on summer projects, such as teaching two sections of Graduate Learning Theory...and yet today was Block 24's last class.  They brought delicious dessert for Darrell and other sweet, sweet thoughts. 

Life happens to everyone; they have plenty going on in their own lives, and yet they so warmly and generously provided their loving support of the journey Darrell is facing.  And my teacher educator's heart ended the course so grateful that California's kids (today and tomorrow) are in such capable hands.  See?
