Life in the Contrasts

Brain cancer is...

...still questing for balance in the semester.

Yesterday was too much work.  Sometimes we don't know until the next day, like today.  We are still searching for the right balance.

Today we tried to fine-tune our contrast decisions of work versus leisure time together.  Andi will quit working in time for kick off in the Packers' season opener against the Bears.

Special?  Yes!  This game marks the opening of the Packers' 100th season.  Go, Pack Go!

Our walk at Yorba Regional Park gave us some visual metaphors for finding life's contrasts and the spaces between.

Misty? Morning.

Clear?  Even the water was clear by the time we left.

Game time.  Must find cheese.

Update 8:41 p.m. Packers Win.

As you know, we are sure, the Packers beat the Bears by one point (24-23) after coming back from the largest fourth-quarter deficit they have ever faced.  And Aaron Rodgers was out at the half with a knee injury.

Maybe it was Aaron Rodgers's return.  Maybe it was Randall Cobb.  Or just maybe it was...

...the first-half cheese offerings made by Packer Backers all over the world.    Whatever the case:  What a game!  As Melanie says, "Never give up."  That game was definitely for you, Munzy Munns.
