Happy International Women's Day!

Brain cancer is...

...celebrating International Women's Day today.

As you know, today is the day that people around the world celebrate women's achievements and raise awareness of the obstacles women continue to face.  News to us:  This holiday has been on the books since 1977 and was celebrated before that, as far back as the early 20th century.

The yellow roses, above, are for Andi's grandmother, Eva Burghardt, an inspiration.  (Side note:  We celebrated Eva on Andi's 56th birthday as well, in this post.)

Today we celebrated with Granny LuAnn (another of the greats), Alex (a huge supporter of women), and Nova (a future great).

Here's to all women, past, present, and future, for what you do for this world, and for how hard you work to do it!
