Go Gray in May

Brain cancer is...

...27 months--plus one day--old today.

You know life is going well when we miss a monthly anniversary of Darrell's diagnosis.
Yesterday Darrell's brain cancer turned 27 months old.   You've heard us say that each passing day is important because, odds are, the longer Darrell lives with brain cancer...the longer Darrell will live with brain cancer.  (Click here if you'd like to review the promising stats we posted at 24 months.)

While we are on this subject:  Did you know that May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month?  The slogan is "Go Gray in May."  (Get it?  "gray" as in "gray matter"?)  If this is the first you've heard of it, don't worry about it.  It doesn't seem to be well publicized.  Besides,  there aren't many people more aware of brain tumors than you.  We know that for a fact.  Thank you.

All our support to you and yours who are facing brain issues this month...and every month.

On a lighter note, we've been busy re-acclimating to life in Fullerton after being away from home for our longest stretch of any kind...ever.

Here's how we know we're back down the mountain, at home in Fullerton:

  • Dishwasher.
  • Moist air.
  • Funny colleague at the kitchen table.
No, Kim did not eat the raw squid.
  • Mousse on the assist, as per usual.
  • Fuzzy yellow goslings are now gray baby dinosaurs.

We hope all is right in your world today, as it is in ours.
