Gadgets Have Darrell Grinning

Brain cancer is...

...happy about new toys.

Today was a work day at home:  The computer for Andi, home upkeep for Darrell.  "Home upkeep" seems to be code for "purchasing new, fun gadgets."

It started with Darrell's new ladder, above.  It's the perfect height for many tasks, and it has a secret compartment that really makes him smile.  He says the compartment doesn't need to be all that secret.  He'll share the space with you.

Next up came these:

The floor is open for guesses.  No, not a safety orange dog collar.  Hint: Ten of them arrived today.

Finally, who wouldn't smile about these purchases?

In the foreground is a holiday gnome that Darrell believes matches his profile.  In the background is a new smoke and carbon monoxide detector.  The battery never needs replacement.
