The Pacific Crest Trail: Guillaume Chunk Five

Brain cancer is...

 ...winter hiking.

The snow is mostly just patchy, so we decided to try another chunk (our fifth) of the Pacific Crest Trail today.

Every chunk of the trail we try has some same and some different but is its own kind of wonderful.

Today's chunk, which headed south from our starting point near Baldwin Lake, wound up and down, in and out of snow, and played peek a boo with the Mojave Desert beyond.

Won't you join us?  Here's the three-minute video, including a view that surprised us.

Too busy for a video?  Here are a couple still shots. No surprise.  Just beautiful.

Hope your other views were great today too, friends!
