Christmas Tree Free for All

 Brain cancer is...

...finished decorating our forest.

We are in training for Super Bowl Stroll 2021, so before we could get to our tree decorating, we needed to walk seven miles.

Walking seven miles gives us the chance to learn new things on my phone.  Here are the three words we learned today:

  • mRNA
  • cornerback
  • faithless elector

Then we were back home for our Christmas tree free for for all.  We started with a discussion of which decorations should go where.  Darrell's great idea was that we each hang whatever we liked on either of the big trees.

No theme.  Just cherished memories of Christmas past.  Christmas tree free for all!

Here are the happy results:

Family Room Tree

Living Room Tree

We weren't going to put any ornaments on the bedroom tree, just lights, but then we found our sweet little bird ornaments and suddenly, accidentally, we had a theme.

It was a Christmas tree free for all for two more reasons:

1.  We loved our accidental bird theme. So, you got it, we one-clicked several flocks of new birds.  We think we just committed.

2.  We re-envisioned our typical bedside tree (above, top) as a Christmas tree and Voila!  Four trees!

Now everything in the house is starting to look like a Christmas tree.  We recognize a good stopping point when we see one.

For anyone who might be wondering, decorating four trees adds 1.6 miles to your total mileage.  Yuss!

Happy Sunday, Friends.  Go Pack Go.
