Lunch with LuAnn: Just like the Olden Days!

Brain cancer is...

...enjoying lunch at LuAnn's house.

LuAnn has been doing a stellar job of protecting herself against the virus, and as part of her team, we haven't seen her face-to-face for weeks.

Today we learned that we can indeed pick up Chinese food and share it without coming within six feet of each other.  Best Chinese food ever!

Also best ever?

Masks by LuAnn!
They are comfortable and reversible.  And they have a thin copper wire running through the top so we pinch them to fit our noses perfectly.  Thanks for the masks, Mom.  They're perfect!  (Words that would have made no sense six moths ago.)

Reasons We're Smiling Today
  • Today's clouds might actually have silver linings.
  • And with clouds like these, we just might see the pink super moon tonight, the largest super moon of 2020.
  • Today is the day we would have boarded the plane for Miami, en route to the Florida Keys.  "Our" Key West hotel is now sending us virtual postcards, until we can visit in person.
  • Gordon, still in lockdown in rehab, is feeling stronger and thinking about ways to break out.  (Kidding.)
  • Today Nova is six months old.  She's made it halfway around the sun thus far.  Travel on, Star Girl!
  • Today is Darrell's 50-month cancerversary.  Please raise a toast of whatever you're drinking today for Darrell.  Cheers Darrell!
