A Light To Cook By

Brain cancer is...

...seeing the light.

Andi's Father's Day gift to me is permanent outdoor lighting over the barbecue.

My super loving wife! We have many permanent lights in the backyard, mostly on the patio.  In my book, well lit areas are necessary when hosting parties, both big and small.

However, when we designed the lighting for the patio, we did not put a light above the BBQ.  Mistake.  It's impossible to cook in the dark.  So, Andi surprised me by secretly hiring an electrician to install the light.  She loves me!

Andi's take:  Andi does love Darrell.  Andi also loves grilled meat. At night.

Did we mention that we have new bamboo bambinos?

Skelly Sighting

Chris reports that Carbon Canyon Skelly is ready for summer.
Skelly, you probably took your mask off for the photo shoot.  Or maybe you've got lots of physical distance between you and others.  Just remember to stay safe and protect others.  Chris points us Californians to the Department of Health's latest mandate for face protection (here).
