It's only 10 a.m.?

Brain cancer is...

...flying solo with Andi back at work for a week-long mathematics education institute.

Because everything is online these days, this year the institute is online too.  So is the CSUF fall semester.

Clearly what we need is another computer station!  Andi created Computer Station Three in the Rumpus Room to serve as the Office for Online Instruction.  You see that it's in front of French doors, which gives her a very green view of our backyard.  Plus, the Rumpus Room is isolated and very quiet--perfect for online learning.

With Andi back at work, I created a to do list to keep me busy today:
  • Do the dishes.
  • Take out the trash cans.
  • Gas up the car.
  • Go to Ralph's grocery store.
  • Go to Total Wines and get her Hoppys.*
  • Put away clean laundry.
  • Email.
I was done by 10:00.  It is going to be a long week...

*Hoppys are for IPA lovers:  They taste like IPA, but with 0 alcohol and...wait for it...0 calories. Andi's favorite these days.

Today's Bloom
(Readers' Note:  In case it isn't obvious, this feature is almost always brought to you by Andi.)

A thistle blossom from our one-block walk during lunch.  Why the funky composition?  Here's why:
Imagine, if you will, my position to get the shot.
