Done With the Mint Project: Hold On...

 Brain cancer is...

... replanting the five mint plants with water-collecting basins and richer soil.

So, we thought with finished the mint project (here).  The plants looked great and we were ready to move on.  Problem was that we could not water them thoroughly because we did not dig the holes deep enough to provide basins, and the soil was hard and crappy.  Every time we would water them, it would erode the soil from the mint and deposit the soil on the walkway.

Nobody wants to do a project twice!!  We not want to fix it...but today we did.  We very carefully removed the five mint plants then dug the holes deeper and wider.  We even needed to use a pickaxe because the soil was so hard.  Then we added the amendment and voila, project is done correctly. We are proud of the outcome.  (PS:  Check out the jasmine's growth, above.)

Happy Saturday, Team D.

Today's Blooms
Our "other" backyard hibiscus with rain droplets on the petals.

Ginger and Tim get the bloom/bee pic at Roger's Gardens.  Wow.
