Tightening Back Up

Readers note:  Darrell's on duty today.

Brain cancer is...

...sad that it's necessary for California to tighten back up on it restrictions for COVID.

Governor Newsom has put the brakes on reopening.

"The governor took action to halt visits to indoor restaurants, bars, wineries and tasting rooms, entertainment centers, movie theaters, zoos, museums and card rooms for the next three weeks in Los Angeles, Riverside, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino and Sacramento counties and other regions hard hit by the virus."

We hope you are all staying safe, Team D.

Andi's take:  Darrell is acutely aware that we all have limited time on this planet.  He is sad--for all of us--that something like COVID is interfering with that time...with each other...in the places we all love together.  He and I are sad that so many people are sick and that so many ripples of people are affected, in ways we could never have anticipated.  We  are sad that there are so many reasons to be sad in our country.  We hope that you are safe, yes, and that you can find beauty and strength somehow.  Please don't go through this alone. And, please, let's all check on each other.  If you'd like to talk, here we are.

Thanks for always being there for us.  Let's be there for each other!

First Day
Of her first day on her new job today, Melanie said:  "Here's to appreciating what a first day can bring.  Beauty in simplicity."
Today's Bloom
As we left the cabin, I took one more circle around our apple tree.  Look what it had hidden for us as a send off present.

Here's to hidden beauty...discovered.
