Collaborative Art in the Days of COVID

 Brain cancer  is...

...a patron of the arts.

You probably know that I use arts integrations in every class I teach.  Above your see the first collaborative mural we've done this semester.  Mural making in the days of COVID, despite fully online instruction.

You see four panels, one each for four classes of mathematics methods students. (I teach two sections and my teaching partner Michelle teaches two).  The mural is composed of prints of the students' journal spreads that capture mathematics in their lives.  It is hanging in front of our garage.  (It's big; with collaborative art, the bigger the better, we think).

Of course Darrell was a big supporter in making decisions, tape balls, and straight cuts.

Thanks to Big D, the arts survive!
