Subdued Smiles on a Somber Day

Brain cancer is...

 ...celebrating...in context.

 We enjoyed family and friends on Parent day today.  But we did it with an awareness of the world around us.  We all had a bit of a rough time breathing through the falling ash.  We talked about the fires and worried.  We talked about the pandemic our planet is facing and wondered.  We discussed the import of this day, September 11, and reflected on what a changed people we are.

Each of these things made us believe even more strongly:  It is another great day to be alive.
