Yesterday Darrell began negotiations for Beach Birthday Bonus Day.  An agreement was quickly reached, and as a result, you see him at his perch this morning.

....and at lunch.

I talked him into a walk today by convincing him that, were we to walk on the sand, we could be even more confident that all was well with the ocean.

 

 

Success!

 

 I even swam in the ocean. It was wonderful.  

And so the sun sets on Best Birthday Month ever.  

We'll come home tomorrow.  We realize that we are now just hogging more birthday month days than we are entitled to.  We'll step aside and let the September folks take over.  Good start, Ryan and Nancy.
