Andi Having Fun in Summer Art Class

Readers Note:  Darrell at the helm today.

Brain cancer is...

...connecting to nature through art journaling.

This is Birthday Month Day 4.  If you're a frequent blog reader, you've seen Kristine Quinn before.  Not only do you see her on the Zoom screen, above, and on Birthday Month Day One's post, you see her in plenty of posts throughout time.  Example:  Kristine is the one holding the chameleon way back in this 2016 post(Side note:  That's how we roll, holding chameleons and all.)

Andi and Kristine have been close friends for more than 20 years.  They met at the university where Andi was first Kristine's professor and is now her colleague and cherished co-teacher.

Andi and Kristine are putting on a 3-day workshop called "Summer Art Journaling: Exploring and Connecting to Nature Through the Artistic Processes to Find Your Balance and Joy." (Email Andi if you want the link to join Wednesday or Thursday. It's free and freeing.)

While they are in the workshop, I am busy running errands.

As a reward for hard work, Andi took me to Lazy Dog.  Hey, Birthday Day Four being all work isn't a celebration!  We shared candied bacon and an ahi salad (which is quite a contrast of unhealthy and healthy).

Lastly, Andi collected her next free birthday dessert from our friends at Lazy Dog.  Andi says if she joins enough restaurant clubs, her email inbox will be full of birthday messages, and our stomachs will be full of delicious desserts.   Today she exercised restraint and has only nibbled at the apple huckleberry pie. For now.

Birthday Month Day Four?  Delicious.

We hope your day was delicious too, Friends!

Today's Blooms

Ginger sent these birthday blooms from her current location, the Carmel Coast.  Oooh!
