...bringing the family together.

Can you believe it? Zachary, Alex, Tiana, and Nova came together with us at Doheny Beach. What in my head started as a huge party with all y'all to celebrate the birthday Darrell didn't know he'd see--the big 60!--became a family weekend at the beach.

Just to remind you of how amazing this day is, Zachary and Nova met for the first time...ever.

Of course it was love at first sight.

Big plans for the weekend? Absolutely not. Just being together and appreciating life as a family.

(Side note: Summer needed to stay back in Colorado to prepare for the comprehensive exams in her PhD program. That's one reason we made sure to see the kids in Greeley recently. She's celebrating in spirit.)
